Ok i am putting up a website and i make it so i can ftp the files and stuff but then when i go to the site it says "forbidon" ok well i figure out that it is because "i" own it and not apache, so if i make apache own it then it works but then i can't change my site. my question is how do i do both?

what is the user/group settings for your htdocs folder
or where ever your document root is....that is the folder
that holds all your web pages....

what user/group is apache running as?
