hi all ,
this is my first post,
i am trying to install slackware 10.1 on my thinkpad,
i have no cdrom,
i have the setup files as .iso in a ntfs directory under windows partition,
i booted from BG-RESCUE-linux , which is a floppy version of linux,
i mounted the ntfs partition,
i mounted the slackware iso file and i can see the content of the iso file,
now all that is left is to run the setup program of the cd
but i can not find it,
i even tried to mount the slackware setup floppy disk and there too, the setup program is not there.

please help

Does this laptop have ethernet, and do you have broadband? You might be better off with ZipSlack.
