i have linux red hat 8.0. i want to be able to telnet to a sco openserver that is on my network. when i type in telnet then the ip address it connects to the severr. i log in with the appropriate usernamne and password but then our program loads that is sopposed to when a remote usre other then root connects called medical manager and says that we have the wrong terminal type. my question is how can i change these settings?

depending on what type of telnet program you use....
you should be able to change it in your telnet client.
