Ok so i have a VAIO VGN-FS640 , and ive tried SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, and Mandrake (well that new one Mandriva) and each one happens the same way the graphics work in the setup and boot, but when im all done and goto load the gui , the screeen is black and i cant do anything. I would like to get a copy of linux that runs on my laptop so i can get better at it, but it sucks not being able to even see what i screw up smile.gif Any help or distro sugestions would be nice.
