hi, I'm having a small problem with my users. When they type passwd the normal prompt comes up but when they enter their password it says incorrect and we have tried multiple number of times so we know they were correct passes.

Anyone have any ideas of why that would not be working?
Could it be wrong permissions on /usr/bin/passwd?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Erik

Not trying to scare you, but you could have a security breach. I would suggest downloading the most recent updates of your base packages.
