well not quite new but new to linux 4 days
which is long enough to install java esp if u cant do it
explains why im here huh
ok i downloaded fedora newest version (dvd) installed everything ok up n running
nephew wants to play yahoo pool
require java plugin
downloaded and followed instructions
(remember im a windows guy}
terminal says installed when i run the rpm
later
same terminal says no java version
no pool 4 the boy
tears all round!
i look like twonk
he cant play pool
go figure
any help to a new guy 2 this weird world
im sorry i grew up spoon fed on this window shizer its in my blood
beat it out of me any one

There is a java installation tutorial at http://www.goland.org/Installing_Java_in_Mandrake_9_1/ its desiged for Mandrake9.1 but is basically the same for any other distribution.
