Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I am new to linux. I need to create a cron that will exicute a file evert 5 min. I belive I have the right command. */5****/var/www/html/dsb2/tools/cron_5minutes. I run cron(crontab -e), then add the string, now how do I save it and exit and have it save the cron? thank you for your help on this matter. Cruzen57

It depends on the editor that is invoked by cron. Assuming vi then you would press the esc key to exit edit mode and then type in the :wq.
