I just got a Turtle Beach Riviera 5.1 soundcard and installed it in my system. I am running mandrake 10.0 and it grabbed it without a problem.

however.

It will only play one source of sound at a time. ie if im listening to mp3's and some other program wants to make a sound, the other program won't, at least until one of the first program stops using the soundcard. also since there are no audio input connectors on the soundcard my cdrom no longer produces audio. I am using the snd-cmipci driver. any idea what i can do to fix these problems? a better driver perhaps?

please help.
