Hello all,
I have fedora on my box and i have been using it for about a half a year. But i have a problem... firstly when i log on it takes about 10 minuts for my disks to be mounted on the gui. And in that 10 minut time frame... when i am in the Terminal Emulator there is an error saying

" usb 3-3: hald timed out on ep0in "

and after my disks are mounted the error goes away. is this faulty hardware and if it is how can i find out.

i am pretty shore that both of these problems are related...

Thanks so much,
Will

List your hardware. Are you having problems with just the USB drives?

Are you running linux from a USB hard drive?

This probably accounts for some of the startup time options (USB 2.0 is much slower than plain old IDE wink.gif)

Also, what are the specs of your system? Your setup? It's not very helpful for you to give us one error message, without any other information.
