You need to setup Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on XP.

http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharin...p_ics/index.htm

On the RH box use the internet wizard under to configure a ethernet connection using DHCP and set the gateway address to 192.168.0.1.

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/R...ide/ch-ppp.html

Not knowing your level of expertise on the hardware side you do need an ethernet card on the RH and XP box in addition to your internet connection hardware. You can use a crossover cable to connect the two computers which does not require a hub or switch.
