What USB deives do you ahve plugged in?

What does "tail -f /var/log/messages -n 50" bring up? (Use "tail /var/log/messages -n 50 > /home/username/kernel_log.txt" to write the output to "kernel_log.txt" in /home/username if it's too bug to get in one terminal window)

it says a lot... what should i be looking for

it says that the error message was repeated and something about
/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory having a resoved adress and being
put into 3 positions.

and near the end it says somthing about all the drives being mounted and then the error disapears.

The comamnd should bring up the last 50 lines of kernel output, if possible, paste it here.
