hi all,

i have a little networkhere in the office with a pc and a latop on win 98 & win xp and a server that runs on linux.

Now i just bought myself a new laptop, but i can't get to the shared dirs on my server.
I think it has something to do with mac-adresses and stuff, cause using exactly the same settings as on my older laptop just can't get in, while the older still can.

I allready tryed something with "/usr/hosts.allow portmap: ALL" but that didn't change
anything.

Ideas anyone?

thx
