Hey there! can u indicate a version of linux, i mean the complete installation version,say, Fedora 2 or so , which supports SATA hard drives. should be freely downloadable.

You should be able to install "SUSE" or "Fedora" on SATA hard disks.

But clearly the support is less for SATA drives,so you may have some problems.All the best for your install.
