Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I'm running Redhat 9.0 on an i386 with about 4 gigabytes of space. Usually I'm sure to not download something too big, but I downloaded a movie and it filled up the rest of my hard drive. I've done this before (it's easy with such a small disk) but this time things are weird. I was watching the first half of the movie on MPlayer when I did it, and now MPlayer gives me a "no video output" error whenever I try to play something. I was also running DCGUI (direct connect graphical user interface) when I did it, and now that won't open either. I reinstalled them both, but neither work. Besides those two things, everything else seems dandy. Please let me know if you think you can help me. Thanks everybody!
