I cannot figure out how to mount my floppy drive from Knoppix. I have been starting my Compaq Presario 2100 Windows XP laptop in Knoppix becasue Linux is better than Windows in at least three important ways. Because of the NTFS file system (I assume), Knoppix can't save documents to my hard drive, right? So I want to save stuff to floppies, 'cuz the main function of my laptop is to write reports for school in Microsoft Works format. I do not know how to do this because I'm not Linux-Savvy yet. Any help proffered would be rewarded with shouts of "YAY LINUX!".

As always,

Yay Linux!

Try (as root) "mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy"
