Hi
I just installed turbolinus8.0 using turbo install option.
I am not able to play any of the Sound(Mp3) fiels or VCD files.
When I checked the systemI saw many of the multimedia applications are installed.
Can somebody help me.

Hi,

well I'm not really familiar with turbolinux but I guess this can't hurt.

first check if you have some sort utlity (there should be atleast one smile.gif ), that can test your
sound card, if it plays ok , then you'll need the following.

for listening to mp3

xmms
xine
etc....

for watching all sorta movies , and its quiet nice to
mplayer (is all you need)
