Hi ive selected a screensaver in KDE but when it loads it just comes up with a black screen. Ive tried loads of screensavers, and they work when I click test, but not when they are supposed to load proply.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Is it possible that you have set somewhere in powersave to turn off the monitor or make a black screen after the same amount of time as your kde screensaver? In kde 3.4, you can check this in KControl -> Peripherials -> Display -> Power Control
