Greetings,

I'm a newbie to Linux and just recently started using SuSE 9.1 Personal.
does anybody know the name of the desktop sharing daemon in SuSE 9.1 Personal?
I ask because i want to setup restrictions to it in my hosts.deny file like i have done for my SSH server:

sshd:192.168.1.100:allow
sshd:all:deny

I want to do the same thing with the desktop sharing server that's running on my SuSE computer.

Thanks for your time,

*Nick*

Hi,

this is probably what you are searching for http://www.realvnc.com/ ,

you need to install the realvnc server on the computer you wish to access remotely

and use realvnc client to access that computer

Sincerely
Robert B
