I am running FC3 and have upgraded to kernel 2.6.10. when loading the start up scrips everythingis fine BUT the system hangs on cups.
I have removed cups from the startup script and the system runs fine however I am not able to print any thing and trying to start cups at any level freezes the system.

I have been told that the kernel needs usb activating(my printer is usb) but i am not sure how to do this

Can any one help or point me in the right direction??? i have checked the cups website and browsed google and there are no solutions

any help would be much appriciated. thanks
