hi,
i have an MSI mega 865 PC with both linux and windows xp installed.
it works just fine with win xp, but with linux (mandrake 10.0) the vent it is extremely noisy... what can i do to fix this..?

I guess you are talking about the fans?

Make sure APM/ACPI is turned on. You might also try turning the fans down in the BIOS
