Can some one help me with a gentoo installation. I have it installed but I used a guide which assumed I had the 2.4.6 kernel, but I used the kernel off the new gentoo server so is there a way I can see the kernel I installed so I can edit the file in the grub conf to boot the write kernel

To see what kernel you're currently running, do the command:

uname -r

Is this what you're looking for?
