I have installed Red Hat Linux 9 on a dual boot computer with Windows 98SE. I would like to be able to access the internet while in Linux. I understand I should use an external modem as they are primarily hardware and not software motivated. I would like to be able to find a modem that will work for me but can not get any information on the modem model that I should buy. Obviously, I am very new to Linux but am determined to shed my reliance on the Windows world. Thank you to anyone that can point me in the right direction.
