HI,
why is it that there are duplicate entries in /dev directory? (for eg /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/usb/ttyUSB0). What difference does it make for a programmer to use the USB API,s in usb.c,printer.c etc and using Libusb?

Different programs look in different places. Its probably someting to do with being compatible with other UNIX systems
