Hi, I have recenlty installed Mandarke 10 on an old PC and need to map my windows PC drives (via a lan). Do I need samba? Any help is appreciated.

You need the samba client tols. Luckily, mandrake has an excellent Windows Share utility in the control centre which you cna use to set it all up, it hsould install what you need, if it isnt already there, the first time you run it.

(I tihnk it is under partitions)
