Using Xxandros version 3.

I want to uninstall an old version of openoffice and install a new version. How do you uninstall software in the Linux OS? There doesn't seem to be a user friendly way to accomplish this. In Windows, a few mouse clicks and maybe a reboot, then you can get rid of a program you don't need anymore. Is there a way to do this in Xandros.

Package management varies between distributions. I havent used Xandros though...

If you installed openoffice from an RPM, you chould be able to run something like "rpm -e openoffice" to uninstall it. No reboot required.
