Using the text mode install, I installed Fedora Core 3 on an HP 4535 (400MHZ).

Now when I start the system, I get horizontal colored lines on a black background when X.org starts.

When rhgb is running, it looks a little weird. For example, the status bar is in two locations on the screen.

For some reason, when I used interactive mode, I could get through firstboot (which uses x.org).

The video driver detected as i810.

I fixed the problem by removing rhgb from GRUB.
