when i read the read me it has the commands to install
The basic commands you must execute to install and use a MySQL binary
distribution are:

shell> groupadd mysql
shell> useradd -g mysql mysql
shell> cd /usr/local
shell> gunzip < /PATH/TO/MYSQL-VERSION-OS.tar.gz | tar xvf -
shell> ln -s FULL-PATH-TO-MYSQL-VERSION-OS mysql
shell> cd mysql
shell> scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql
shell> chown -R root .
shell> chown -R mysql data
shell> chgrp -R mysql .nvaild command or u
shell> bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql &
when ever i type it it says bash shell command not found do i type this in the konsol? do i have to do something befor this?

Are you refering to all commands or just the /bin/mysqld... command.
Are you logged in as root via su? If so use su - instead. You will use root's environment instead of the regular user.

you dont type that part on the command line.
