I just installed IE6 using wine, but I can't get it to run.
When I type wine IEXPLORE from the appropriate location, I get

As far as I know, IE6 doesn't work through Vanilla wine (though i could be wrong). I have seen it work quite well using Codeweaver's crossover office/plugin.

I dont think any sober person will use IE,and that too on GNU/Linux wink.gif

IE6 does run in Wine, but it might not work in all version.

It is useful to be able to run IE from a web desingers point of view, since it's rendering of CSS is atrocious and needs to be tested quite extensively.
