I need some help installing vsftp on Suse Professional 9.2. When I run the make command I get the following error message.

gcc -c main.c -02 -Wall -W -Wshadow -idirafter dummyinc
make: gcc: Command not found
make: *** [main.o] Error 127

Thanks

Andrew

You don't have gcc. tongue.gif

I'll assume you're using the Personal version, since to my knowlege, Pro comes with a compiler.

You can grab gcc/g++/etc. off of their FTPs (find a mirror off of SuSe's site, add it to Yast)
