Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

u35876776:~/bookproxy > crontab -l
30 18 * * * php bookproxy/followup.php
30 18 * * * php bookproxy/expire_needers.php

Welp? What's wrong. PHP is not executing those scripts at all.

You might want to include the path to php (example: if php is in /usr/bin, then use /usr/bin/php instead of php).

Also, use the abosolute path. Right now, you're expecting cron to know that you're talking about ~/bookproxy, but you've only put bookproxy there.

30 18 * * * /usr/bin/php /home/user/bookproxy/followup.php
30 18 * * * /usr/bin/php /home/user/bookproxy/expire_needers.php
