I recently installed firefox 1.7.5 on my debian system (fluxbox if it matters) when I installed it and it auto loads everything is fine but when I try to open it after its closed I get this...
Rad:/home/rad# firefox
*** loading the extensions datasource
Segmentation fault
Rad:/home/rad#

I cant open it in the menu or use gentoo (the file manager) to open it from its main directory...
Im stuck using WWW-Browser (a text-only browser) now so please help!

What user are you running this as, and which user did you install this as?

Did you get this from mozilla.org?

Try redownloading/reinstalling it, and if that makes a diffrence.

Sadly, that error gives no information as to what the problem might be.
