hi anyone would you help me out with this setup. my proftpd server is already setup and running. this is a local dedicated server. the problem is i want to setup the username and passoword so i can login from my home pc with this server ip, username and password for uploading and download the files. all just like you host a website and there is a ip, username and password for ftp login. would you show me what can i setup to make this ip, user and password for example:

ip=244.233.233.22
username=kicon
password=kicon

Proftpd, by default, uses the system users.

So to make a new account in Proftpd, you'd:

useradd -G users -m -s /bin/bash penguin

passwd penguin

[enter pass here twice]
