Can n e one help me find out if there i s a way to slow down the upload speed from my bittorrent client im using the standard BT client.. upoads are speeding away how do i slow it down?

You can't control the upload speed with the standard bittorrent client. You can use the Bittornado client, that will allow you more control over your torrent downloads, and it's available for linux.
