I have just put mandrake 10 on my thinkpad ibm laptop and im trying to get on the net with it but i cant get the modem to work its a in-built modem any ideas and help is good. smile.gif

Open up a console window and type the following:

su -
(enter your root password here)

lspci -v

And paste that so we can determine what modem you have.

I done a bit of looking round and i found out that i have a intel 82440-443MX AC 97 modem hope this helps people.

Dont worry bout it found out today that my modem isnt suported now have to try get my external modem going:)
