Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Okay, here me out. I have been trying to find a linux distribution to put on this 386 laptop with 4mb of ram. Every OS i've tried so far (about 6 in all) couldn't install. If anyone could reccomend an OS that would run on here I would be greatful. Thank you.

Which linux distributions have you tried? Ive got an old Gateway Solo Pentium, and I can't find one that works either.

Look at peanut, zipslack or basic linux to see if they might run on 4 mb
