Using Novell Desktop Linux. Installed with basics...

I have a lucent win modem.

Using Default GNONE.

What is the correct process in setting up a dial-up connection. I am confused.

I had to install the ltmodem rpm, i used the one for suse 9.1

When I click on qinternet / dialup i get a no serial port open failed in the log file.

Any help or anything would be great. I feel helpless with linux.
