Here's the problem: I have a middle-aged Sony PCG-GRZ530 with a Sony PCG WA300S wireless lan card and linux doesn't seem to notice it. Even when I plug in the built in lan card, linux doesn't connect or anything even after restarting. I did some research and didn't find anything except www.linuxant.com which claimed it could work on virtually any wireless lan card. Well, to complete the installation it requires that you connect to their website and they'll install it for you (or something to that effect) except I don't have any internet connection seeing as how linux fails to recognize either of my lan cards. What do I do?
