Hi im new to linux and installed SuSE 9.1 personal. The only trouble is that i cant seem to connect to the internet and setup any dialup features as im not familiar with the programs it uses. ive also got knoppix which is absolutely great and ill soon install that but for now id really like to get onlline with Suse.

when i try to run Dialup it gives me an error message about either spppd or not being in a dialup group or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks

Also my modem is on com3 on windows so not sure what that translates to on linux terms.
