I am on a redhat 9 ES installation and have configred Xvnc / vnc server according to the following page

http://www.prosig.com/protor/kbase/vnc-install.html

If i use the client i get a prompt for a password but no password i know of is set up.

If i run vncserver from command line i can use it that way but it should aready be set up as a deamon. I just have no idea how to set the password for the deamon

any help is appreciated
