Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Hi new to linux have a dual boot system but cant use internet i have a 750K broadband conection running through a actiontec wireless router and a hardwired hub now when using windows it flies but in linux its slow like a really bad dial up conection i would use linux more if it was not for this any help will be appreciated. tongue.gif

Check your DNS settings - This can normally be done with config tools provided with your distro. It is normlly best either to get the IPs for your ISPs DNS servers, or set it to your gateway (router) which should be able to do it for you.

Yah,,I would say the same thing...check your dns settings..sounds like your having a hard time resolving names. Also check your routes
