Im new to linux but i would really like to get to know it better..
I have just installed red hat 8.0 and now i would like to set it up as a pop server to collect mail from an IPS and then be able to distribute on a local LAN.....i have installed postfix and also sendmail...from the distribution cd.....but thats as far as i have got...and know how to do....
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated..

go to the guides section, and see postfix guide...its really-really good.

I can't see anything related to postfix in the guides section ican see sendmail and qmail...but nothign to do with postfix.... unsure.gif ...

Install webmin (www.webmin.com), and fetchmail

Webmin makes config VERY easy, and fetchmail is required to download the mail from the ISP

D
