I'm using samba as a DC ... the shared directories are rwx rwx rwx and owned by root group root this is safe or no?

in the samba config file I tell samba to only allow user1 to access this... user2 can access only that...

I'm planing on creating a webserver and allow our designer from the lan to access it via samba so he can easily upload change webpage content... so that is why I'm concerned...if I allow rwx rwx rwx on a webpage directory and share it with samba (I had these cannot create dir or file probs...what are the correct permissions(?) for a samba share?)

how do you people do this? when sharing with samba
