okay, one last problem then i promise not to bug you guys anymore.

how do i automate start up of my modem so i can stop doing the following thing every time i start up my computer:

1. open terminal
2. modprobe slamr
3. /usr/sbin/slmodemd --country=USA /dev/slamr0
4. open KPPP and dial.

I would like to just be able to turn on the computer and click on KPPP and dial out without have to do the above 4 steps each and every time. sad.gif, but all the places i have seen mentioned to put a script do not work with the script provided and i guess syntax wise it should but i have no way of knowing which script to edit to point to the script that should auto-load the modem module on start up.
