Alright again chaps!! I bet you get fed up of helping me by now. I have a little problem with SSH into my home computer from uni. i have specifically made a port available on my router for SSH port 6565, now if i try to connect to my web url using that port it does not want to connect. Does SSH not like using ports? Its the only way I can get past my firewall of course. Cheers

Hello,

CODE
ssh -help

in your case type
CODE
ssh -p 6565 ip_address_of_the_computer

(by the way the computer you are trying to ssh into is behind the firewall ? if so did you specify the firewall where to forward that port?)

Sincerely
Robert B
