I've created a user. I've tried editing the .profile_bash file and entered revised path in form of:

PATH=$PATH:/home/bob/lib

I log out and log back in and the path has not changed by running the set command and viewing the current path. How do I modify path so that when user logs in it takes affect?

Thanks,
Bob

If you are using a no-login termial(that is the case most probably)...you should place the following lines in to .bashrc
CODE
PATH=$PATH:/home/bob/lib
export PATH
