I just installed Fedora core 2 and I want to get my wireless card working. I followed this tutorial and I'm at the part where I type "ifconfig eth0 up". When I type that, I get no lights on my card and no errors from the terminal. The same goes for the next step. But when I type "iwlist eth0 scanning" I get an "eth0 Failed to read scan data : Input/output error" error in the terminal. The reason my wireless card is eth0 is because this laptop has no built in network cards.

I've made sure I have done everything right. All the needed RPMs are installed and the firmware is installed. All items are in the correct place, too. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
