I have updated Redhat 8.0 to linux kernel 2.6.9. I have noticed however
that the /lib/modules/2.6.9/kernel/drivers/pcmcia directory is missing
the yenta_socket.o driver. This means that my notebook is unable to
load my WLAN PCMCIA card- the card doesn't even power up.

However, I noticed that the Redhat compilation included yenta_socket.o,
it appears in the directory /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/pcmcia,
note that my Redhat 8.0 has the kernel 2.4.18-14.

Could somebody please tell me why I am missing the yenta_socket object
file with 2.6.9 kernel ? Please ?
