How do I set up linux as a primary domain controller for a windows 2000 network. I am running fedora core 2 and samba. I read the guides on how to configure linux, however I am running the gnome desktop and the instructions seem to be for the X GUI. I can not seem to locate the linuxconf program. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

linuxconf is a very old program ... not usually good nowdays.

Samba can't be a Microsoft ADS Domain Controller on a Windows 2000 ADS network ... although it can be a Primary Domain Controller on a Windows NT type domain.

Here is a Guide that I did for CentOS/WBEL ... which is very similar to FC2.
