It would be nice for Linux newbies if there was a "chart" with three column headings. One for Windows , one for GUI Linux, and the third for Linux command line for those so inclined. Down the left side of this chart would be entries for standard tasks ,functions, file manipulations, etc., and in each column its corresponding method of execution within that OS. Also would be nice if someone would post a list of software categories and the Linux and Windows equivalents and if files are transferrable between those apps.
