installed Mandrake 9.1 beta....everything worked gr8 but, I forgot to install C compilers...reinstalled. Now i can see the other puters on my home network but, cant get online. Had no problems w/ 1st install, I don't understand. Please help? Thank You in advance! blink.gif

There could be a few things wrong here, first off, make sure you can ping all the other computers within your local network, next, make sure you have a default gateway set up so your computer will know how to route it's packets. Mandrake should have a network setup utility in it's Mandrake Control Centre. I remember using that a while ago and it working quite well. Keep in mind, though, that you're using a beta version of Mandrake and may run into a few gotchas, I know I did when I tested Mdk 9.0 beta.
